A great day out for the whole family - an introduction to four wheel driving

Departing from the Hydro Majestic Hotel at Medlow Bath, we explore rugged 4WD trails of the Katoomba Plateau and Blue Mountains National Park, working our way down through pristine Rainforest to the Megalong Valley where we enjoy a BBQ lunch on a working farm where kids can get up close with the farmyard animals.

We explore private 4WD trails through stunning farmlands, crossing the Cox's River to reach a secluded picnic spot for afternoon tea.

An Easy to Medium grade Tag-a-Long Tour, suited for both 4WD and AWD vehicles, with optional tracks to suit your vehicle and sense of adventure.

Our day out includes an educational segment with demonstrations on basic recovery techniques including Max Tracks, Snatch straps and winching operations.

The tour concludes back up on the Katoomba Plateau, near Blackheath by 5pm.

Tag-a-Long Tours are graded Easy, Medium to Difficult and are suited for stock-standard 4WD or AWD vehicles, with optional tracks to suit your vehicle and level of experience.

Simmo’s Offroad Tours is specially licensed through NSW National Parks & Wildlife, and certified through Eco-Tourism Australia so guests learn how to drive a 4WD responsibly and safely under varying conditions – with a minimum impact on our environment.
